disappointing. the pysch doc called me back today after hours around 8pm tonight and made minor adjustments to my meds, recommended that i research the difference b/t bipolar & borderline personality disorders and come to her office in 3 weeks to tell her the difference and then she'll make further changes to my meds.

wth rebel. if a dr did that over here they would be thrown out of the profession. such a laid back attitude. as for telling you to do the research, just not on. docs here get pretty upset when their patients know more than they do because of "research " done on line.

she doesn't think i know the difference, and wants to be sure that i've been diagnosed correctly. i told her that i've been through the gambit and that i had the best medical care in san diego with the best doctor possible who knew what he was doing far more than she did, and she still didn't buy what i was telling her. it was like she thought i was challenging her authority.

at this point, i just want to know why i'm sleeping so much and why my mood is so low. she can't even look past her own ego. i had this problem with the other 2 docs that tried to help me from memphis. *eyeroll* they just flat out refuse to look at my medical records. they expect me to know it all. but i can't remember it all due to the ect i underwent in california. and when i told her that, she got upset with me.

oh! and when i tried to call the va today to take sprite's suggestion to get my medical records, i couldn't get through. lay offs....trump laid off a lot of the staff, so i couldn't get what i needed today.
